We cordially invite you to the ASEAN Conference on Combatting Plastic Pollution (ACCPP) 2025 - All Hands on Deck: Uniting Forces for a Sustainable Plastics Future, co-hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) of Malaysia and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) of the World Economic Forum.
Building on the success of the 2023 conference in Indonesia and the 2024 conference in Lao PDR, the ACCPP 2025 will bring together stakeholders from across the ASEAN Member States to synergise ASEAN action against plastic pollution. Together, we will reflect on the Regional Action Plan 2021-2025 and discuss ASEAN's relevance to the global plastic treaty. We will also dive deep into national action plans, sea-based plastic pollution, behavioural change initiatives, and the future of reuse and refill in the region.
